About Us - Location
The Wanganui-Manawatu Gliding Club operates from Feilding Aerodrome (NZFI). This is located at Taonui, between Bunnythorpe and Feilding on the northeast side of the main trunk railway. The clubhouse is located just past the first two hangars to the left of the main entrance.
When flying is in progress there is a buff coloured caravan on the airfield at the launch point. Visitors should park their cars in the central car park and walk to the caravan, watching carefully for aircraft that may include microlight, agricultural, flying school and private aircraft.
